It cannot however be denied that the Tragedians used fsi'vog, pofivog, yofzmrm, uoupog' (vide Porson. Praefat. Eurip. Hecub.) we find the augment not unfrequently rejected, a licence which Professor Porson declares to be contrary to the rules of the Attic dialect, and the practice of the Tragedians.
