Author Biography

Axel Scheffler is a star illustrator within the children's book world, and has created many prize-winning and best-selling books for Macmillan. He has enjoyed particular success in his collaborations with Julia Donaldson. Their books include THE GRUFFALO (0 333 71093 2), ROOM ON THE BROOM (0 333 90338 2) and THE GRUFFALO'S CHILD (1 405 02045 8), publishing in September 2004.
