"A must for any Beatles fan!"
5 stars"

Just when you thought that music games couldn't get any better after Rockband 2, Harmonix drops a bomb: Beatles Rockband

Its so great (if you like the beatles) the setlist spans their career with a great variety of songs and the gameplay is super fun!

"What Beatles will you be?"

“Wooo The Beatles Rockband” some of you might say sarcastically. But I am here to tell you the game is actually good. I myself was never a fan of The Beatles and only knew a few of their songs but after playing the game a few times I found I actually quite liked them and enjoyed playing it. Before I used the mic (not knowing the words properly and not knowing the tune = disaster) I played the songs a few times on the guitar/bass and drums to get a feel of the songs.

The Beatles Rockband has brought new elements to the Rockband game. Most noticeably is the difficulty panel that appears when choosing your song so that you're able to tell how hard the song is on what instrument. I found this feature highly useful as when playing with new users we could choose the easier songs on the instruments that they wanted to play. It's also useful for clicking on the easiest song on your chosen instrument and then choosing Expert so that people think you're really good.

To end this review, here are the instruments summed up in a few sentences

Mic – 3 people being able to sing together and “harmonize” is a terrific idea in theory. In practice though in can sound a bit terrible so make sure to turn the volume up! And if you're finding it difficult, you can always go the to Harmony Trainer in the training menu!

Drums – Repetitive. They do say Ringo Starr was not the best drummer, and he wasn't even the best in the Beatles but he can still play them!

Guitar/Bass – I've put Guitar and Bass into the same category as I find that Bass is simpler in a way to the Guitar. Both instruments are quite fun to play with a nice steady beat. There's nothing extreme as this is 60s Rock/Psychedelic Pop

"Amazing Presentation"

Presentation ,Gameplay are amazing puts GH Metallica to shame. The Beatles elements do not feel tacked onto an existing game. The dreamscape work is amzing

My only gripe is the number of tracks Well done harmonix

Cant wait for Rockband 3 in 2010
