With more than 150 paintings and drawings reproduced in brilliant full colour, this retrospective look at Tasha Tudor's art is the culmination of Harry Davis' work of a decade, recording the observations and compiling the art of the renowned author and illustrator. The book combines well-known images, with lesser-known illustrations. Included are Tasha's fashion designs for Pierre Deux, portraits of animals and of family, holiday cards, inc. those for Christmas and Valentine's Day plus samples from her personal sketchbooks. Drawing from more than 10,000 pieces that Tudor has produced over her long career, Davis has chosen the most representative examples, which he illuminates with accompanying text.

Author Biography

Harry Davis has studied the art of Tasha Tudor for 30 years. A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University he was a teacher before becoming Tudor's business partner. He is the author of two previous books on Tasha Tudor's work.
