The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared reviews

My friends call me obsessed with elephants so the fact there was one in this movie was a bonus. A great cast (the lead was believable of being 100 years old) and a great story with the good guys always managing to come out on top.

Not as good as the book, but still worth a watch as it is such a funny story. You know it is totally fictional but so want it to be real. The 100 year old mans make up is terrible, but the sub titles are easy to follow, and the general acting calibre fits the movie. Overall, light hearted (even when dealing with death), quirky and fun.

I read that this film has become the all-time best-seller Swedish film, and I am not surprised.....it is whimsical, gentle, Funny and extremely well acted.....it is “my movie of 2014”

I enjoyed the book and the movie followed it's plot pretty well for the most part but it all seemed to peter out at the end and become a bit Ho Hum.
