This revision represents an effort to simplify the most difficult portions, to introduce more physiology, and to present more fully the subject of the generative organs. Much of the book has been rewritten, a number of new illustrations have been introduced, and several that seemed to have outlived their usefulness have been discarded. As in the previous revision, many Superintendents and Teachers of Training Schools have been consulted both personally and by letter.
