This is the best poker game I have played on Nintendo DS.
The top screen shows the table and representations of the cards of the other 5 players. The bottom shows a first person view of the table and your cards.
You can play the game with touch screen and stylus, I found using buttons to be more comfortable. Holding the X button will make the bottom screen show an animation of a pair of hands revealing your cards. While doing this the game actually tells you what your hand actually is (flush, straight, two pair, 3 of a kind and so on) which helps avoiding having to use your brain too much :)
During play, on the top screen you will see a pre-rendered 3D representation of the other players as they decide whether to call, raise, fold or check.
Game environments consist of various casinos, but before you get there you have to put up with garage, and back of the shop type environments.
There is dealer commentary, but ONLY once you reach the casinos. In all cases the music is terrible. Overall I'd say the presentation of the game in terms of graphics and audio is pretty bad, but the dealer commentary is actually pretty good.
The AI in the game is pretty good, although not perfect and also nowhere as good as playing against real people, but then that's generally going to be expected in any computer poker game.
If you really must have a poker game on your DS, then this is the one to get, but it's just a shame that the game is not budget priced.
