"Online no longer works."
3 stars"

Free roam is great, huge map, and a large selection of cars. But the cops are annoying, and online no longer works… for me anyway.

Photography feature is fun, and the idea of changing the look of your character entirely is cool too.

"Good "arcade" game"
4 stars"

Is a very fun open world game, but do not mistake it as a precise simulation game that mimics real life. Has a great gameplay time that will keep you entertained for a very long time.

"Brilliant but with a ton of bugs"
4 stars"

Test Drive Unlimited is simply the best car game on PC. It's brilliant, I purchased a copy online and downloaded it over a month ago and have loved it, and hated it. I love Ohau (The Hawaiian Island you're based on), it's huge, beautiful and full of stuff to do.

But the game is riddled with bugs. The game has trouble running on many machines and people have also had corrupted player profiles (back to square one). The bugs I've encountered are mainly sound related. It can become static-y, or just plain cut out. The list of bugs goes on, but… recent talk on the Atari forums points to a patch on the way. This will hopefully remedy a lot of problems.

Currently the game is full of exploits that make cheating rampant, so don't expect any fair challenges when online. Many ‘challenges’ have been their best time recorded by a VW Golf GTI, which manages to travel at 1000km/h.

Basically though, I love it… easily worth the money! Despite all the bugs, and all the problems, and the horrible way multiplayer is handled… I've managed to have a ton of fun. I started a car club yesterday, teamed up with another guy in an SLR McLaren and drove right around the island while dodging traffic at 380km/h

Can't wait to see some Kiwi's online!
