Description

Excerpt from Technique of Modern Tactics: A Study of Troop Leading Methods in the Operations of Detachments of All Arms That our people are beginning to manifest an intelligent inter est in the condition of the National defense cannot fail to be gratifying to those whose lives are consecrated to such defense. Such interest is a vital support and an inspiration to the defenders. It is hoped that this volume may be of assistance in guiding to some extent the awakening interest. In the first edition the subjects of air craft and motor vehicles were not treated, because although it was recognized from the outset that these machines would exert a very great influence upon the conduct of war, their tactics was at the time largely speculative. Such is not the case today. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
