Description

As with so many other pleasures in life, the sweetest things are often best shared (although there is strong case for keeping some of the deliciously decadent treats found in this book all to yourself!). Sweet as...is a scrumptious new collection of more than 100 tempting recipes to test your will power, ranging from simple biscuits through to sophisticated desserts. Included are some great classics 'revisited' for the home cook, such as sacher torte and panna cotta; some family treasures including tiramisu di Alessandra; and a few totally new creations. While the recipes in this book are international in their range, the ingredients are easily available. And, as a bonus, many of the ingredients are suitable for people with food allergies as well as those who choose to exlude dairy and wheat products from their diets. Whether you are a committed chocoholic or a dedicated fruit fancier, there is something for everyone in this wonderfully indulgent cookbook that covers a delectably wide range of sweet treats.

Author Biography

Italian born, Alessandra Zecchini grew up in a small village where good culinary skills were highly regarded. At the age of 19 she moved to London and some years later to Tokyo where she started her career as a food writer.
