After reading a few Palahniuk books im set for something exciting and this delivered. Survivor was epic, brilliantly epic, considering it was compared to fight club in its tone i was expecting alot and it was spot on. If you are a fan of words then read this. Even if youre blind buy this and make someone read it to you
This brilliant writer achieves another great read with Survivor. His ability to expose the more twisted sides of human nature shine through yet again.
The story of a man whose destiny seems pre-ordained and controlled completely by third parties takes him, as well as the readers, from ‘sky-highs’ to despairingly-low lows putting the best of roller coasters to shame. Strange, twisted and sometimes funny; Survivor is well worth a read though probably not for the light of heart.
