What can be said about this game, except its FREAKING AWESOME… This is such a fun game, its nicely polished, and while it takes a bit of time to learn, the play style options are many, which gives you many hours of game time… and then you have multiplayer… SO much fun… make sure to bring some friends. In my opinion, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is THE BENCHMARK for RTS gaming

I purchased this award winning strategy game via Mighty Ape a while back, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The original is based around three enemy factions fighting for control of the universe, and the expansion features a new race seeking control, known as the seraphim. I really liked how if you got stuck on the original campaign, you could play the expansion one, and vice versa.

The graphics were excellent and sharp, and the movement of on-screen units was seamless. The control system was set out in an easy-to-use way, which is very important. There are three races in the original, four in the expansion, all of which have their own unique units and attributes. There is also a huge selection of highly detailed maps of many varying sizes in which you can battle to the death with your enimies. Online play was yet another great feature in an already awesome game, where you can team up with your friends and conquer great armies, or turn on each other and fight it out.

Over all, this is a great game at a great price, and I would highly reccomend it to anyone who has played games such as Age of Empires, Civilization, Empire Earth etc. THQ have outdone themselves once again!

Supreme Commander:Forged Alliance has ironed out the kinks that made Supreme Commander original a bit frustrating at times. not only have they removed the bugs and fixed some game mechanice, Forged Alliance features a brand new UI system, plenty of new and diverse units, a great new race and best of all a thriving online community on which people compete against each other.

All in all Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is one of the funnest, largest scale, RTS games out at the present.
