Author Biography

Jonah Mixon-Webster is a poet-educator, conceptual/sound artist from Flint, MI. He has earned degrees in creative writing from Eastern Michigan University and is completing a PhD in English Studies at Illinois State University. He has received fellowships from The Conversation Literary Festival, Vermont Studio Center, and Callaloo Writer's Workshop. His poetry and hybrid works have appeared in various journals and anthologies including Callaloo, Best New Poets 2017, Best American Experimental Writing 2018, and others. He is 1/5th of the Detroit-based multidisciplinary Black arts collective CTTNN Club (Can't Take These Niggas Nowhere).
