I wasn't sure about watching this show at first since I am such a huge Star Trek fan, but now I am hooked! I always thought the Stargate shows were a cheap knockoff from the movie but I was soooo wrong! Atlantis has elements borrowed from other great sci-fi shows but overall this show is new, refreshing and more than satisfies my cravings for new up-to-date Sci Fi.
Atlantis has absolutely fantastic characters and an excellent enemy that weaves throughout its Arc storyline ( which every good action show needs ) the visual effects are superb and the cliffhanger at the end of season one will leave you desperate to get the next one.
