For the first time in ten years, Darth Revan is back in toy form (both times winning Fan Choice…hint hint, Disney)! Not since the 30th Anniversary line has this beloved protagonist from Bioware's hit game Knights of the Old Republic graced the shelves, and this rendition of Revan is damn near perfect.
The sculpt and paintwork on the figure are incredible; possibly one of the most high quality of the series, although this wave in general is very good. Revan comes with two accessories: one red and one purple lightsaber, each with a unique hilt. The saber beams can be taken off safely, though there is no place to clip the hilts onto Revan's belt, so makes this a bit pointless. The figure is beautifully painted, the helmet is absolutely magnificent! Unfortunately, the head is not very pose-able due to a plastic hood that cannot be removed.
The only gripes I have of the figure are these: Revan's skirt is cloth and battle-damaged, but to simulate this damage the skirt has been frayed and will probably disintegrate if you play with it too much (pieces actually fell off on one video review I saw). Revan's cloak is also fabric, though much more robust. The upper cloak and hood on this figure are good plastic, but as they drape over the shoulders, Revan loses a lot of mobility in those joints.
If you want a fully posable Dark Lord of the Sith, this figure may disappoint, but this figure is an absolute must-have for any fan of KotOR!
