"Superb!"
5 stars"

One of the best games on any platform, in any genre to date. It is by far the best Star Wars game by far. Anyone who likes Star Wars will love this game, and anyone who isn't interested in Star Wars will still love this game!

The combat system is fantastic. It is not like those RPGs where you just stand their swinging your axe at one another, the characters actually fight with moves, dodges, blockes and risky power swings which if they miss can have disastrous consequences. You can equip all sorts of different weapons, like blaster rifles, bowcasters to your non jedi companions (or to your jedi companions if you really want) and throw a multitude of different grendade types.

There is a massive amount of NPCs in the game for you to trade with, chat with, or even play a game of Pazaak with. But be careful of what you say, because “for every choice, a consequence”.

You can customise your light sabre with special power and colour chrystals, learn force powers, find special objects, and even learn the jedi power of force persuasion, to persuade people that you don't actually need to pay the fee.

To sum up, this is one of the best, if not the best game on Xbox.

"An excellent game."
5 stars"

You can call it a game, but KotOR really is an immersive experience, providing stimulation at a number of different intellectual levels. On the table are some temptations to rival Eve's challenge in the Garden of Eden. Saint or sinner or somewhere in between… plenty of opportunities to take your pick.

The game developers have obviously put a huge effort into the depth and scale of the game… I am taking my time at ‘difficult’ level and after 20-something hours have only just picked up my first light sabre so obviously a long way to go.

The combat takes some getting used to, but you do get over the disappointment of not actually controlling every little aspect of combat, and realise that the way combat is dealt with in this game is actually challenging and successful in its own right.

The best X-Box game to date? Comparing it with something like (the benchmark) Halo is pretty much an ‘apples and oranges’ type scenario. KotOR does what it does very well indeed and to date is a very satisfying experience.

5 out of 5 and great value for money.

"One of the best RPG games"
5 stars"

I just brought KOTOR a few days ago and have never stopped playing it since, its one of the best RPG's on any machine. It is around 30 hours light side and 50 hours dark side thats 80 hours minimum and I didnt even even do most of the side quest and on normal. It really makes you feel like you are on the planets you visit and very open-ended rpg you can choose when to do things and how most of the time. I stongly recommend buying this game. I already cant wait to start again as a different character. It's $90 well spent, you can do what you want become a jedi or sith master and construct your own lightsaber! Absolutly amazing graphics and everything you could want it a game!

"The Best Star Wars Game Ever!"
4 stars"

Fans of Star Wars, your prayers have been answered! Having played nearly every SW game on the market I can easily say that I'm very impressed with this latest release. A storyline that could easily be adapted into another movie and make George Lucas another kazillion dollars (so in depth with some striking twists). Superb character development with a hint of RPG is a nice touch.

A few glitches (characters often block each other and AI can be a bit frustrating) and the fact that you can't influence light or dark side points of other characters in your team, prevents me from giving this 5 stars. Otherwise highly recommended!

"The force is strong!!"

Purchased on Mighty Ape

Star wars fans everywhere will be screaming with joy and feeling the force flowing through them while playing this game, whether it be from the darkside or light, your choice.

The storyline is deep and fascinating, each character you meet will have a past you'll either want to know or need to know.

The environments offer such a beautiful experience and the music compliments the whole game.

I found this MASTERPIECE so addictive that I couldn't stop thinking about it, you need to BUY this, don't waste your money on rental.

THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE!!

"Completely Awsome!"
4 stars"

Totally owns! You start off choosing your fighter style, soldier etc… then choose the face and name, then you have a certain amount of points to use on there skills and special abilities. Through out the game, you talk to people and get certain ‘jobs’ that they ask you to do. Without making it too obvious, they try and keep it quiet because of the sith patrolling. You can earn dark points, or light points which decides how good you are, I prefer the dark side >:). Very good game!!! A must have, even tho it has some minor problems such as a slowdown in framerate when you view a large area, but you tend to not notice it after a while. I give it 4 stars, it could be a lot better, but still a very good game!
