Description

A third-rate comic asks private eye Miles Jacoby to recover his stolen book of jokes in this final novel in Robert Randisi's New York crime series. One corpse convinces Jacoby that this case is no laughing matter, and neither is a friend's run-in with the Mafia. Says Publishers Weekly of the series: "Jacoby really is a pleasure, missing few chances to crack wise." With a new Afterword by the author.
