God is God and he has the power to speak by any means he chooses, including audibly but if he chose to speak audibly the deaf would not hear him. God is a spirit and he speaks spirit to spirit in his unmistakable voice. He speaks in a soft calm voice that can be heard loudly when you tune out everything but him. He is God and he will neither shout to be heard nor compete for your attention. If you ask God to respond to you with wisdom, direction and answers for your problems, you must await his timely response with faithful expectation. His answers will always come on time and in due time, and it is important for you not to move ahead of his direction. When you move ahead of him without clear direction from him, you are moving in the wrong direction. When God speaks to your spirit he will never speak anything that is contrary to his written word in the Bible. You will have confidence in his response and his direction because it will be accompanied by his peace. You will know that you know that you know that you have heard the unmistakable voice of the living God. I have often said to God; "Speak to me Lord, speak profoundly to my spirit and let me know that it is you that is speaking and not my own limited intellect." Sometimes God would ask; "what do you want me to speak to you about"? And I would ask him to speak concerning something specific that was going on in my life or I would ask him to just speak some wisdom to me of his choosing. However long it took, seconds, minutes or longer God would always speak. He would speak so profoundly about what I had asked him to speak about or provide so much new awesome wisdom that I knew within my spirit that it was God and my response would often be; "Wow! God that was awesome." I cannot adequately describe in words, the experience and feeling I get from hearing God speaks. It is something that you have to experience for yourself to truly understand it and it is an experience that is available to you every second of every day of your life. Once you have learned to hear the voice of God, conversations with him will become as natural as breathing. Conversations with God will provide you with all the wisdom, answers and direction you need for a life that is filled with love, peace, joy and abundance of blessings which is the life that God desires for his children.
