This sound card which will work on any platform and trans form it into 7.1 THX surround sound. This sound card is the heart of all your Dolby and THX pleasure. The sound card has a standard 3.5mm jack for devices like your iPod, MP3 player and your console of course. However, the consoles don't use this old and unreliable connect as creative have included a mini Optical TOSLINK connection designed for the consoles meaning that you have better sound quality and more surround sound. Your headset will be connected through the wireless slot card at the top. The good thing about this soundcard is that you can use it with the old 3.5 mm headsets which plug in the bottom and will make them fully immersed in THX quality sound. This card comes with many customizable features that you can program on your computer or with the press of a button enable Recon mode. Recon mode will boost footstep noise and will allow you to pin point the position of the nearby enemy. The sound card is fully USB powered so you will need a spare connection on your PS3, Xbox360 or PC to power it. The USB connection is also used as your microphone connection for Xbox,PS3 and PC.
