Description

The explosion of interest in African environmental history has stimulated research and writing on a wide range of issues facing many African nations. Author Biography:

William Beinart is Rhodes Professor of Race Relations at the University of Oxford. JoAnn McGregor is lecturer in geography at the University of Reading.
