Excellent smart plugs at a good price. Only negative is having to use wifi password for connection. Would prefer not to have to do so
I got them for my daughter to control her heater and electric blanket in her cold unit flat. She set them up with ease and loves them. She can turn her blanket or heater on and off from anywhere and even monitor the power usage.
These cycle themselves on and off for some reason, I have one on my electric blanket and if I leave it on it'll flick itself on and off throughout the day causing the electric blanket to stay on all day, even when the blanket has a 1 hour timer, the flicking causes the timer to reset. I also have one on my fish tank and I occasionally hear the return pump shut down for a few seconds and then start back up.
The costing is really good, I can see how much power everything is using and split the cost between day and night rates.
A down side to these is they use 2.4gz and the connection can be pretty weak sometimes, they're also wide so you can't fit something next to it when you're using it on a power board.
