This camera has been a little disappointing, the basic functions work well but if you set alerts it will pick up ANY movement and your phone will be going off constantly (i.e. Light changes, wind moving trees outside etc.) the other unfortunate part is the playback, you can't skip to events or speed up playback within the app which only makes this camera suitable for very specific uses.

Have had this camera since 2022 and it does not even turn on when I plug it into my laptop and have tired 3 different cords as well. I wish I could get my money back. I can see why it was discontinued. I am mad, what a bad product.
Seems like an awesome camera at first then randomly won’t establish a connection to view live feed then randomly disconnects and won’t re sync up with the app so becomes an expensive ornament pay for what you get I guess
Haven't had to use it for actual security yet but it's useful for watching out for my cats when I go on holiday since you can watch live from anywhere from the smart life app, also useful for watching tv from the bathroom I guess lol. Pan function doesn't really work but tilt does and you can't speed up playback which is a bit annoying. Bought on special for $20 so no complaints but would not pay full price.
