Author Biography:

Alwyn Crawshaw is the author of over 25 books on art instruction, all of which are published by HarperCollins. He has a huge following among leisure painters and has had 8 successful TV series on Channel 4. He has also made many successful videos on painting. He is Founder of the Society of Amateur Artists and President of the National Acrylic Painters Association. He runs popular painting holidays and courses, and regularly gives lectures and demonstrations to painting groups.
