Six hundred years ago the Knights of the Round Table swore their loyalty and the loyalty of their descendants to the crown of England. Six hundred years later someone is trying to kill all of their descendants. Bubba, a farmer in Mississippi, who has never been to England finds out that he is one of the last remaining people of that line and is asked to serve the Royal Family. If he refuses he could lose the land his family has farmed for generations, so reluctantly he accepts. After he arrives he learns the gruesome tactics the killer has used, and after two attempts on his own life, he gets serious about his job even though he has no clue as to what he is doing. The only good thing that happens to him is when he meets Princess Anne, and although they are worlds apart, their worlds are about to collide. A story about murder, revenge, and blindly stumbling to do what is right, even if what is right is wrong.
