Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution is quite simply the best strategy game to make the crossover to the Xbox 360. A simplified style of gameplay makes commanding your civilization smooth and logical on the 360 controller. As well as the traditional quest for world domination you are supplied with numerous other game modes. These put you into senarios that challenge budding megalomaniacs in so many different ways. Backed up by solid graphics SMCR is a strategy must!

from someone that didnt like these kind of games before......untill i played this one.thought id try this game out for a couple of minutes but couldnt put it down.only played as americans so far but after that i had to buy the game for myself, really enjoyed the game once i got the fighter planes and tanks(only coz i started winning) and great how you can transport your armies around by boat. great game, very happy to get it for the cheapest price around.........thanks mighty ape.
This game is truly one of the best civilization games ever! I have lost few nights sleep playing this until the small hours of the morning. i think i worked out that to 100% the game you must play at least 320 games and each game can take around 3–4 hours thats about 1100 hours worth of gaming now thats value for money! gameplay is much simpler than the others because they have removed alot of the extreme micromanagement that made gameplay much easier controls are simplecombat looks great and units can be upgraded with special abilites like blitz gives them an extra movement or attacking oppertunity in one turn.
We were quite surprised at how quick the game was compared to the PC version, however it is just as addicting and fun to play
This ‘Sims’ style game was suprisingly addictive! Fours ways to win, with many different empires with their own leaders, cultures, and benefits. Can be played again and again. My only problem with the game is that in many respects it is limited time-wise (turns). Trying to upgrade everything fully, and to research everything before invading the world, I was told I had “5 turns before the leader wins by domination”…bugger. didn't get to smite anyone after all that time. But it does add to the difficulty of the game. With various difficulties, and many preset campaign modes, this game has hours of entertainment in a form that is not overly time consuming.
Been looking for this game for ages so stoked it arrived
