Cupid's arrows have struck me several times during my life. I have been madly in love, blissfully married, had a wonderful daughter, and gone through a menacing divorce and fallen madly in love for a second time. This experience has led me to a point in my life of love where I am close to solving the love puzzle through creative writing. Discovering my passion again and pursuing fabulous relationships have inspired me in writing this work to communicate intense feelings and to challenge my spirit to unravel the mystery of romance. My journey, a quest for greater expression of passion through creative romantic writing is what I hope to share with you. The craft of creative writing has always been important to me. A love in itself. Studying Broadcast Journalism, being a radio and television broadcaster for ten years, selling real estate for nine years and working as a freelance writer have prepared me for writing this book. As a published poet, songwriter, and accomplished guitarist I am a sincere romantic at heart. Using the right words gathered through love's lessons over the past thirty-five years have given me an avenue to express love in all it's glory and misery. I am a capable lover who is able to tap into intense feelings and thoughts and, with a few well-chosen words of passion, write about how I feel. In short, I have learned to keep my writing simple, concise and effective. Friends see me as a sensitive person who is warm-hearted, funny, sometimes sarcastic and always enjoyable to be around. I am a person who truly lives as he speaks, someone who feels and is not fearful of displaying his emotions; someone who loves and is joyous in that love. Living in Vancouver Canada, devoting my life to the pursuit of personal love and happiness, sharing my words of love, romance, through songs and poems are my greatest gifts.
