Short Stories and Sketches is a two-part anthology that consists in Part I of fictional short stories and in Part II short stories of happenings in the author's life and sketches in which he expresses his opinions and musings. The short stories cover a variety of subjects from politics to pigeons. They include a science fiction tale, stories about the elderly living in a retirement home, tales about veterans, explorations of nature and the outdoors, and the many things that interest readers with a wide range of tastes.
