They could'nt have done worse- contrived, silly, and boring action, lousy sound/music (sounds like Playstaion “Sonic”), zero atmosphere, not to mention the lack of innovation in the graphics although the landscape is good. Kids like it- says it all.

Needless to say Croteam have lost the plot and will have to pull something seriously decent out from the hat to regain their “patch”. I strongly recommend obtaining the demo- wish I did! But at least there are some good third-party levels to download for Serious Sam SE.

In the finest tradition of things SERIOUS, more of everything and BIG. Nice enviroments, some different weapons, shoot almost everything that moves. Some rough spots – not perfect. Co-op multiplayer is excellent and has always been good. Encountered a corrupt user profile consistently around the Giant Junkyard – single player -(game not updated) which was disturbing – it can cost you your saved progress. Copied saved games to another folder and remade profile copied saves back, then turned on the cheats to enable multiplayer use to levels then turned cheats off and carried on without losing the multiplayer benefits and levels thus far. Have 2 of the 4 parts of the medallion and I 'm not going to be finished til next year probably . . .Hey its really MENTAL !! Not going to update the game until I'm finished. Remember – if you play on the LAN – versions must be the same.
