Description

Covers a typical SCOTVEC business law course in Scottish Central Institutions and Colleges of further education. It covers areas of the Scottish legal system, Scots Law of Contract, sale of goods, consumer protection, basic company law and employment law. This book is aimed primarily at those students who are studying law as part of a course where law is not the main discipline. We hope that it will prove to be particularly useful to SCOTVEC students studying law at national certificate, higher national certificate and higher national diploma level. We believe that it will also be a suitable text for students on Accountancy, Business Studies and Commerce degree programmes in Scottish higher education colleges and universities. Our aim has been to provide such students with a single textbook which satisfies their needs in a straightforward manner. Our choice of content has been influenced by our experience of teaching Business Law to students studying for SCOTVEC and degree qualifications.
