Scarface is about the folly of violence and the degradation of greed – talk about right royally missing the point…
It also won't go on your HDD either…I object to such games on prinicple. The machine was made that way by the developers (the console) – so lump it.
Watch the movie instead – ‘everyone loves the bad guy’.
The game has some very good concepts, being able to rebuild your empire while your ultimate aim is to take revenge on those who stole everything Tony Montana had worked so hard for. The graphics are really good, however the game play can at times be extreamely difficult and very frustrating. Certain objectives can be very repetitive and tedious. While these objectives are simple conceptually, carrying out these taks can be difficult and requires patience and planning. Overall if you want to kill time while waiting for something better to come out, this game is a good buy otherwise just wait till something actually better does come out. Enjoy!
When I first heard that a video game based on the 1983 cult classic film Scarface I had absolute reservations about that the game will not stay true to the elements of the movie (For which I also had the same concerns for the Godfather as well)
I also had the concern that it was going to be a gta clone or rip off it turns out my fears had no substance. The game is absolutely awesome and it does kind of explain the rise, fall and redemption of a ruthless gangster, but what sucked about this game is that it doesn't have Al Pacino's voice for Tony Montana. this is my opinion only so. Say goodnight to the bad guy
