"Worth the money."

This is a great deal, for a great episodic game! Though I'm usually not into adventure/puzzle/clicky games (AT ALL) this game was just real charming for me and entranced me with it's wacky humour and fun story. Though some voices are a bit grating sometimes (especially the first episode) the story is pretty good and will definitely make you laugh.

One thing that I did find kinda annoying was that you couldn't skip dialogue, and if you're stuck and just want a reminder of what you have to do, you have to listen to the same dialogue again and again.

The graphics are fair enough and unique and well fitted to this comic styled game. My laptop has definitely not aged well but this game plays great on it with full settings which is a great feeling! xD

If you've ever wondered what the attraction for point and click adventures were, then try this game out! Each episode is relatively fun and definitely funny, with an over arching plot that is explained in the last episode. They last quite a few hours and are worth the money! =)

"One of the best adventure games out there."
5 stars"
Purchased on Mighty Ape

I've grown up playing many great adventure games like Day of the Tentacles, The Monkey Island Series, and the Longest Journey 1. Sam and Max Season One joins the list of one of the greatest adventure games ever made as has its predecessor Sam and Max which was released in the early nineties. The story line is well crafted and it gets funnier as you progress with the episodes. I noticed a comment stating that the dialogs can't be skipped in the game which is not true. Dialogs can be skipped in the game by just right clicking the mouse button during conversations. Game magazines and online game websites has consistently given this game a good review which is not common for adventure games released nowadays. Overall, Sam and Max Season 1 is a highly entertaining and well made adventure game.
