Description

This book is about quality not quantity. It combines the poetry of Rumi with Carl Jung's concepts of the self and explains notions such as, self-discovery, self-actualization, self-liberation, and self-determination. Each chapter offers an explanation of the concept from a self-psychology perspective, a series of Rumi's poems and a series of famous quotes relating to the concept. Rumi, a poet and scholar, was named as one of the few people who acted as a bridge between the west and the east. Many named Carl Jung as the bridge between psychology and spirituality. This book combines these two extra-ordinary people's concepts in an attempt to help the reader become familiar with the concept of self.
