Description

Rugger, a small town with only one entry and exit and the population of only 890, is the home of Rosebud's Cafe, where the scones are plentiful, stuffed with love and handled with care. At 18, Nova Rosebud, youngest of the Rosebud crew, is two weeks away from jumping on a plane in the bordering city of Bloomville to study abroad in Paris. She's been waiting for the opportunity to leave Rugger, even if only for a year, so that she can experience the world outside of her hometown where there is only one Walmart, one shopping strip and everyone knows everyone's business. Even the thought of vacating the town brings her unspeakable joy. However, after the newest resident of Rugger comes sauntering into Rosebud's Cafe, Nova's confidence in her decision to leave crumbles under his deep brown eyes and insanely long limbs. His brashness is commendable as he embarks on a mission to steal Nova's thoughts, heart and kisses. The decision to leave for Paris gets more complicated by the kiss, by every hour that their becoming more acquainted and each time she looks into those brown rounds. By the end of their two week journey, Nova finds herself head over heels, contemplating if the distance is worth the newfound joy she has with Jasper Collins.
