All through the movie the brightness fades in and out. After a lot of wasted time trying to figure it out it seems that this is a by product of the DVD copy-protection and is only apparent on some DVD players (Mine is a Pioneer DVR-560H) and it makes the movie unwatchable. I would literally have a better quality experience by downloading a pirated copy. So, if you buy this DVD you're taking a gamble whether it'll actually play with no issues on your device. Take my advice and don't bother.

It just gets better every time I watch it. It was a brave step to end it like they did but that decision means it fits perfectly in the canon, which is surprising and impressive.
Just as good as the previous ones, no drop in standards
I watched the movie with my 21 year old daughter and we both loved it and how it filled in the blanks to history related to earlier Star Wars movies. Well acted and it didn't do a Lord of the Rings gaze of hours of nothingness!!
Ok movie if your looking for a time filler nothing earthmoving
I think I speak for most people that say Rogue One is without doubt the best Anthology film in Star Wars easily bridging the gap in between Revenge of The Sith and just before A New Hope as we learn how the Rebels steel The Death Star Plans that would be used later to destroy the dreaded space station, Darth Vader's cameo role and some neat new characters thrown in the twist
This film benefitted from an excellent script and a strong female lead. Darth Vader carried all of the power of the previous films. Producing a film that chronologically synched up with A New Hope was surely a delight for all Star Wars fans. Top notch.
Other than the original trilogy this could be one of my favorites, pending Solo: A Star Wars Story.
We have enjoyed all the Star Wars movies and this is just another one to add to our collection. Looking forward to the next episode
Great movie for new and old fans well worth a watch
