By the present arrangement, inconveniences are avoided which arose out of the practice of deferring the presentments of the churchwardens and the admission Of their successors till the visitation Of the Diocesan in the autumn' the time of service in the Office of churchwarden is divided equally; the complete year of Office is the period assigned to each and the new churchwardens, admitted now, are in a condition to act, and to have all things in order when the Archbishop comes.
