My favourite notebook, I own a few. The cover is amazingly soft and feels great to carry around. Elastic strap works perfectly for holding the book closed.
The paper has this silky feel that can't be beaten by any other paper, and if you use fountain pens, or any very inky pen, this paper will treat it well and the ink will not bleed at all. You could pour a bottle of ink on this and get crisp clean lines.
Compared to other big name notebooks that I've tried the Rhodia Webnotebook is by far the best when it comes to using a fountain pen. Its pages are thick and smooth and there is no bleed-through or feathering that happens when using notebooks with thinner pages.
The Webbie by Rhodia is quite possibly the perfect journal. The sturdy cover is finished in a smooth, soft finish Italian leatherette, is embossed with the Rhodia logo on the cover, and comes with an elastic closure. It even has a handy little pocket on the inside rear cover for keeping cards and scrap notes. The paper is Clairefontaines 90gsm bleed proof so you can be assured of using both sides of every sheet. The lovely smooth paper is a pleasure to write on with a fountain pen. All PEFC-certified from sustainable forestry. Made in France by Rhodia.
