Description

What makes divorce difficult are the physical and psychological challenges that emerge as a result of it. Not only does it change your life while you're going through it, but the effects last well into the aftermath. Often, the longer the marriage, the more painful the unexpected side effects from divorce can be. There are a lot of symptoms that can eat away at a marriage. However, no bite is as acute as infidelity. I violated an implicit promise to be true, to love for better and for worse, through sickness and in health, and to death due us part. And I unequivocally own it. But owning it is just the start. It would be easy to admit fault, forgive myself and move on. You see, quickly forgiving myself may look as if I'm being kind but it's deeply unkind. It's denial. What about the other factors that contributed to the warping of my mind? What are these and where do they originate from? These are the answers that give greater insight into my foundational defects that I am working through as a man and person. I caused so much discomfort via pain and hurt that it's only right I subject myself to the discomfort of intense examination. After all, we don't learn from our experiences, we learn from the reflection of our experiences. The contents of this book serve as my mirror.
