Description

By reflecting on life's precious...and sometimes, difficult moments...Mrs. Hall has penned her thoughts and ideas. As the reader will note, many of the bits of wisdom are based, not only on experience, but on Scripture and love for the Lord. She hopes that not only her children, but others' children will find this tome to be enjoyable and instructive. Re-reading and pondering its contents can enhance every reader's perspective on life and family.

Author Biography:

Joyce was born in a West Virginia Coal Mining town and raised in Ohio. Her mother was called to heaven when she was very young. Edward Rickman, her father, raised Joyce and her three siblings. He is a World War II veteran. She hopes these reflections will enhance your mothering skills as you watch your children grow and achieve. It was always Joyce's hope and dream to bring a Mother's Gift to her children by writing a book of memories and lessons in life. Mrs. Hall has been active in church for many years. She and her husband, Roger, have been married for 41 years and their church has played an important role in their life together. The love of children, and becoming a mother, were especially important to Joyce since she did not have the experience of interacting with her own mother. Her desire to be a great wife, mother, and grandmother was evident in her vocation-teaching Kindergarten and Home Economics for several years. With guidance from the Word, Joyce has been blessed with an especially close, and loving family and a multitude of friends. She has been mother, wife, grandmother, teacher, sister, friend and now author.
