Gail Simone is the most influential woman in the comic book industry. Her advocacy for female representation in the industry has been instrumental in changing the landscape for female creators and bringing about greater success for female characters. Gail has led the writing on huge series like Wonder Woman , Superman, Tomb Raider and Batgirl. She is known for taking on series and revamping the characters with her wit, unique style and her eye for an action scene - revitalising sales of Deadpool and Birds of Prey issues when she joined the creative team.
