So far the only problem I've had is the triggers they are quite flimsy but apart from that this product is very good, well done razer!

"Better than an original controller in every way."

Way better than a normal xbox controller with a non tangle chord and feels seriously solid and robust.

"Get the standard Onza instead."

I mainly bought this controller because of the ability to tighten the thumbsticks. I’m a horrible shot due to the fact that I have trouble making small, precise movements with my thumbs in the heat of battle, and I thought it would be easier if the sticks were stiffer. I played with the controller for a few hours and twiddled with the stiffness incessantly but I never really found it made much a difference to my accuracy and it never felt quite right. So after a while I just opened them right up and forgot about it. So that particular feature I’d have to rate as being quite useless.

The other features however I like very much, particularly the extra bumper buttons. I mapped these to the thumbstick buttons which usually default to either sprint or sneak with most games I play and I find them very awkward to use, so having those functions mapped to the extra buttons was great.

I liked the position of the forward and back buttons. To me the position felt more convenient than on the generic controller.

The DPad is a huge improvement over the generic controller. As you know on that controller the DPad is basically one button with eight positions, and it’s very easy to mistakenly select the wrong position. That’s not possible on the Onza because the positions are four entirely separate buttons. Ok there are only four, not eight but it’s still a huge improvement. No more accidentally pulling out my knife when I meant to select a grenade.

The final feature, the light up buttons is completely and utterly useless. How many people have to look at the buttons while playing- None. I have to surmise this is simply a gimmick.

I don’t like the wire very much but that can’t be helped as apparently Microsoft won’t allow anyone else to make a wireless controller. But the good thing about the wire is you just plug it right in and it’s good to go. The xbox recognises it immediately. No faffing around.

I found the A, B, X and Y buttons have a very different feel compared to the Microsoft controller’s but I got used to that when I began playing. Also the bumper buttons make a quite audible click when pressed but again once I started playing I didn’t notice.

One thing that’s taking a bit of getting used to is the size of the controller. It seems to be slightly smaller than the Microsoft one, and it doesn’t fit my hand as well, so I have to hold it a bit awkwardly. That might end up making me go back to the old one but I like those extra buttons and the DPad so much I would be loath to. Plus it, y’know… Looks cool. It’s black!

I only played for a few days so I don’t know how the controller will hold up to months of rigorous use but it seems to be a well made, quality product.

The main reason I bought the Tournament Edition was the thumbstick adjusters, and I ended up not using this feature. So for that reason I would recommend the standard Onza that has the same features as the Tournament Edition with the exception of the thumbstick adjusters and is somewhat cheaper.

Although the feature set is great, and for the time it worked it was probably the best controller I have ever used. (the adjustable analogue in particular is a godsend) I have to give this a “terrible rating” because it only lasted about a month before the triggers became unresponsive and the left analogue stopped moving forward. Everyone I have spoke to has had problems with this pad within a few months. Razer QC is taking a dive..

"Best and worst controller I've ever used."

Ok positives first. Extra bumpers: odd at the start but a life saver once you get used to them every controller should have them. D-Pad: Holy moly, this thing rocks (been using it in Battlefield 3, no health pack instead of defibs anymore) the four dedicated buttons instead of the single eight point mash pad. Triggers: Although they're a little flimsy I found if you're gentle they work amazing and the added length so good for tapping the trigger on those big mag LMG's. Buttons: They really are hypersensitive, takes a little bit to get used to but once you're there OMG LOL!!! Thumbsticks: Amazing!!!!! You have so much more control over all the movement It's amazing.

Now the negatives. Triggers: After a lot of play hours they become a lot less reliable. And I mean a lot less. Buttons didn't really change a whole lot for me but I use them the least out of everything thanks to those added bumpers (which still work fine…). Thumbsticks: On my controller the non slip grip started desintergrating on the left side.

So in conclusion, I've come to the decision that I can no longer play Battlefield with anything but a Razer. BUT I personally would not get the tournament edition (the one with adjustable thumbsticks) the thumbsticks do help ONCE you get used to them, BUT they lower the lifespan of the thumbsticks due to the different design. And Battlefield is my serious game BTW. Every other game I use standard controller simply because I want to get the most out of my Razer so have dedicated it to one game.

"Good for people not playing xbox 24/7" Purchased on Mighty Ape

Ok so at 1st the controller is great the adjustable stick are awesome and the extra MFB are great. But after awhile the triggers become less reactive. I found that they became rather unresponsive ie: when trigger are fully on they dont read. Also the coverings for the joysticks seem to peel and split after use. Not bad controllers but dont expect them to last to long. also if you smash them on the ground into 1 billon peices and go backto the original xbox 360 controller you will find the gaming experience is better than these controllers. i done that and went to my normal controller now im happy. the razor onza te edition is the biggest ripoff ever i strongely advise that you never buy this type of gamiong controller ever as you will be very disstisefied by it.

I've read the reviews and agree that this Control is good as gold for gaming and the 2 Multi-Function buttons help in some games.

But… I've had these for about 2 weeks now, and it seems when i'm playing COD: Black ops 2, the triggers sometimes slip or something because using iron sights or scopes, whiling pressing the left trigger down, the action of aiming down the sights spazzes out going in and out of the sites.

I really like this control, i've gotten quite attached to it. Since the pretty light up buttons and the sleek design and the feel of it in my hands. I just fear that i'm going to be looking at buying a normal Xbox control in the near future.

Primo control maybe a user problem, but still wish these felt like long term controls.

Only thing that's bad for me is my headset can't plug into it
