This volume includes perspectives on public service selected from six decades of major public administration journals. Author Biography:

Marc Holzer, Ph.D. (University of Michigan) is executive director of the National centre for Public Productivity, as well as a Professor of Public Administration and Director of the Ph.D. Program in Public Administration at Rutgers University Campus at Newark.
