Not perfect, but I was swept away in the worlds, the mystery and the horror. Nice to have it on Bluray.

Clues lead mankind to another planet to seek answers to a question. Who are the engineers. The journey may give the answers they seek. Or will it create new questions. The movie had highs and a few lows.

Love this movie, sure the crew make some retarded decisions, but that's the human condition, we all have our quirks and its all about fight or flight. Scenary is epic it has freaken aliens and a dodgy synthetic. Brilliant hope there is a sequal

Haters be hatin' … a lot of negative reviews say ‘there's nothing really new’ in Prometheus. A couple of points: the original was hardly The Godfather. Scott said he wanted to make (basically) Friday The 13th in space. Prometheus is a classy addition to the line of Alien films, easily better in all respects than 3 and 4. Too, this film finally answers the questions hardcore fans have had since the beginning re the Space Jockey. You can't say that is ‘nothing new.’ I found those answers to be both satisfying and provocative in that they give you the basic information but also leave you wanting to know more. And that's where the planned sequels to this film come in …

I had read a lot of poor reviews when this came out at the cinemas but wanted to see it anyway. It's not too bad but could have been better. Nothing all that new but some interesting stuff for Alien fans. It least it wasn't a rehash of old Disney twaddle like Avatar.

A good film that entertains by answering questions and asking new ones. Great special effects and action. The film hints upon what we have become mentally and how we got there and relates that to how human curiosity and search for answers has been consistent for our entire existence
