The USB always disconnects itself randomly and I have to restart my computer constantly for it to start working again.

This adapter picks up my controller, but then looses the connection almost immediately and requires me to uninstall and reinstall the software for it. The software it installed also can't be removed.

All I had to do was plug it in. That’s it. Easy!
Looks hit and miss for some people based on the other reviews. Personally I have a Windows 10 machine I built myself, and it was a simple plug and play for me. I haven't connected any audio equipment to it via bluetooth, my main reason was to connect a PS4 controller to it wirelessly (hold the start and PS button FYI to get it into bluetooth pairing mode) – works fine for me, no disconnecting, haven't had to unplug it, and the range was fine (across the room about 3 or 4m).
I purchased this as my desktop PC does not have built in Bluetooth. Simply plug this in and BOOM, you now have Bluetooth.
I use this for my Xbox Controller and Bluetooth headphones, works perfectly fine with no complaints at all!
