This is disappointing on an item that is virtually is basically brand new

After 5 days of purchase with moderate use (and no liquid damage), the controller's left trigger has developed an irritating squeaking noise that is pretty distracting while playing games. As someone new to Playstation this is not a good start given the cost associated with the controller. Other than the seemingly poor construction, the haptic feedback is awesome and feels great.

It looks exactly like the one I got with my brand new PS5 which I bought in 2021, but for some reason this purple controller feels lighter and cheap quality material. Could be because Sony has been losing money on PS5 so they’re making cheap and fancy coloured PS5 controllers to cover production costs of the PS5 console.
