Author Biography:

Leslie Hill and Helen Paris are Associate Professors of Performance Making at Stanford University, USA. They are the editors of Performance and Place and artistic directors of Curious theatre company. Based at Artsadmin in London, Curious has produced over 40 projects which have been presented by numerous international organizations and festivals including PS122 New York, the Sydney Opera House, Tanzquartier Vienna, Le Couvent des Recollets Paris, Guling Street Avant-Garde Theater Taipei, the Ke Center Shanghai, the National Review of Live Art Glasgow, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the British Council Showcase at the Edinburgh Festival, and the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. www.placelessness.com
