Author Biography

Tim Hopgood worked as a graphic designer and freelance illustrator before turning his hand to children's books. His book Here Comes Frankie won him the Best Emerging Illustrator category at the Early Years Awards 2008 and received critical acclaim. Tim's popular first concepts books, Hooray For Hoppy: A First Book of Senses, Wow Said the Owl: A First Book of Colours and Tip Tap Went the Crab: A First Book of Counting are also published by Macmillan. Tim is married with two children and lives in the centre of York.
