While walking home one day with her best friend, Ellie, six-year old Annabelle Wade is confronted by a police officer who was guarding Ellie's house. Upon given terrible news her best friend moves away from her because of the tragedy that happened to Ellie's mom. Now being watched by the news station, her father asks her teacher to drive her home one evening because he, Jackson Wade works for Level, the biggest laboratory and research facility in the Bay Area to distribute vaccines to the general population. One of the vaccines start mutating on its own and drive the United States into fear causes the segregation of neighborhoods and the downfall in society. And the disappearance of her father.
