It is an amazing console, it doesn't have much games but Zelda will last hundreds of hours to complete the entire game and get every item.

This is the best handheld ever. The most flexible console ever. Just a great piece of tech.

There is a lot of negativity from people who don't have one or aren't interested in one. This is a premium piece of tech. It feels great, runs great, plays well and all the different modes make it so flexible. The launch line up is a little sparce but it'll fill out over time as all catalogs do.

Truly worth the money for Nintendo, Handheld and just Gadget fans in general. Really loving mine so far. :)

In my opinion wait until E3 or later for more titles, as it is, with no backwards compatibility with WiiU games its a bit limited.

Very modular system. Handheld, tabletop, or used on TV. Personalised for whatever suits the user. I'm most fond of handheld use – even though I use it solely at home and usually enjoy big TV gaming. As a handheld this thing is powerful. The pixels per inch on tablet screen is quite outstanding – both Zelda and Mariokart look amazing. Extremely robust system – I watched a video of someone dropping their switch from a drone at some unworldly height, only to see it survive the impact. Definitely worth the price for Nintendo's games.

Though this console is great for playing at home, it's as a portable that it's strengths shine. Powerful and compact, it's also great that you can take it to a friend's and already have two controllers for local multiplayer. The screen is georgous, and the build quality feels and looks sophisticated while also being robust. Fair warning, it does feel like it's still being completed firmware-wise so you may want to hold off on purchasing until Christmas, but this feels like an issue common to most consoles, and tbh you've got Zelda to tide you over until then anyway.

Bought it a while back and it does everything it says on the tin. Which for me is ideal, if that's not what you're after then you're better elsewhere. But it's portable, links up to my TV when I'm home and the controls are intuitive. Happy customer right here

This is perfect for a student that has self-control, You will never have enough if you manage your time, just a lack of games

The only reason i bought the switch was coz of its portability, i travel a lot on the train and it's been awesome having the switch with me. Games on your phone just doesn't quite cut it to the same level as a handheld console like the switch. I highly recommend the switch to those who are looking to buy their first handheld, it's worth the price with all the games coming out soon later on this year.

Huge potential with this console, the online systems aren't fully developed yet and the suite of games is yet to grow. But with Zelda, and shortly Mario Kart 8 deluxe this really drives home the potential this has. I would say this is far superior as a portable console then a plugin one, however the option is there to play on a larger screen when you wish. The potential of this is awesome, and how you can just pickup and play from where ever you left off makes even open world games a breeze. Cannot wait for Skyrim and hopefully other games to come to the switch. Worth the price.

Hi guys, this is a review from verified buyer. Don't buy a Nintendo switch. Here's why.

I received mine from Mighty Ape on Friday 16 June 2017, and shipped it back to them Thursday 22 June. Faulty console, it can read Bomberman but doesn't read Zelda and MK8 (all bought from MA). I immediately asked for a refund for the faulty console.

Mighty Ape Returns Team confirmed the console is faulty but MA had this to say: “In this instance, it is at Nintendo's dis­cretion as to whether or not a refund will be offered. We have requested a refund on your behalf, so we are hopeful that they will be able to put that through once they have confirmed the fault, but again this is not something we can guarantee.”

In a previous email, Might Ape says this: “We work directly with Nintendo in instances such as this, so we do have to follow the protocols that they have set out for us.”

So not only is it unlucky Nintendo's quality control sucks (faulty on arrival), their “protocols” on how to deal with faulty product sucks.

Mighty Ape advises: “We expect to hear back from them within 8 – 12 business days and we will keep you updated during this process.”

It is now a week later, Friday 30 June ie 5 business days. I have 4 switch games, 3 joy cons, 3 charging handles and a Nintendo switch bag. But sadly no switch, because Nintendo somehow feel they need to take up to 2.5 weeks for a 3rd person to confirm my console is faulty, as if this is the right solution. Whoever created this “protocol”, its not a good solution. In fact is a very bad solution.

In conclusion. Guys (and gals) please think twice about buying a Nintendo switch. Or at least find a store that has a better faulty/refund policy, because Nintendo's “protocol” tying up Mighty Ape's policy on faulty products is not cool. Mighty Ape should be able to issue a refund on a faulty product without any problems.

The switch is the best console I've played. ZELDA is possibly the best game I've ever played. I just can't wait for Bomberman Mario cart and Mario to come out. My life will be complete.

Great console. Game selection lacking slightly, but there are many good titles coming over the next few months.

Its super simple to use and its convenient ,on the heavy side but easy enough to use the dock to play on the tv

Great evolution in gaming.

At the time of writing this review, nintendo switch has over 200 games. Mario Odyssey and Breath Of The Wild are must-haves, and the console itself is great to hold and use. When the price drops, it going to be hard to find a reason why you shouldn’t have one already.
