If you're like me, NFS: Most Wanted was the pinnacle of the NFS franchise to date, being the one of the most balanced and well rounded games I have ever played. Sadly, everything after that in the NFS line was either a complete miss, or fell short of reaching (much less surpassing) the excellence of Most Wanted. But now, there's a chance that Most Wanted will have a true and worthy successor! “Criterion Games, the developer behind the Burnout series, is the latest studio to take on the Need for Speed franchise with Hot Pursuit” and they did such a great job on Paradise City, that I have fides implicitum that they will do it proud! I almost shed a tear and was moments away from mailing in my Man Badge in abject shame. Luckily, I had a beer and an aimless groin scratch close at hand, which brought me back from the brink. Again if you're like me and NFS: Most Wanted was a high point of your gaming life to date, it looks like we're finally gonna top it with this title!

I loved these games back in the day. The very first games I ever played online/via modem. I am extremely pleased and excitided to see this game is coming.
