Much the same as the last few itterations of this title, gameplay is poor with players feeling like they skate all over the floor rather than run. Unrealistic player physics and the graphics are far too shiny to be considered realistic looking. Keep on trying EA, cause you're still way behind 2K in terms of gameplay and graphics.

After ditching Live for 2K in 2006, I haven't been enticed to look back. I thought this installment from EA Sports would have me going back but, it's still a long way behind 2K when it comes to gameplay and the fluidity of players moving and working as a team. I rented it and from the beginning wasn't impressed. The player movement is robotic, probably fom the footplanting they introduced to their game this year. The player models are equally as bad. There's been alot of debate about the look or graphics comparison between 2K and Live, but 2K's models and faces look more realistic. The only difference is the skin textures, Live has outdone 2K this year. Other than that, I can't think of anything Live has improved on from last year.

If you're after a basketball sim 2K is the way to go. EA stepped up this year but still lags behind the competition.
